Commercial Waste Quotes was set up in 2020 by Jason Glynn and Nic Pillinger. They first worked together in 2006 at uSwitch. Recent developments in the commercial waste industry sparked a realisation that business waste is facing similar issues to the ones they had experienced, and overcome, when building comparison tools for the business energy industry. They realised that businesses need a smart resource for finding the best deals on waste collection.

Jason Glynn
Jason has worked in a number of different commercial and product roles within the price comparison sphere since 2005. He was part of the original Business Energy Comparison launch team for uSwitch in 2006, where he worked alongside Nic and developed strong relationships with the various Business Energy providers they worked for. At the time, price comparison was a fledgling industry and this was a whole new way of doing business for these organisations.
Jason later headed up the white label partnership network for Decision Technologies, part of the Money Supermarket group, that includes brands SellMyMobile and Broadband Choices. Decision Technologies syndicats its mobile phone and broadband internet comparison services to household brands like MoneySavingExpert.com, Go Compare and Confused.com.
In 2015, alongside Nic, he established the company Factory3 that provided bespoke product and software solutions designed to the price comparison industry.
Nic Pillinger
Nic switched his careeer in investment banking in 2005 when he crossed into the price comparison industry. As part of a new development team at uSwitch, utilizing an Agile methodology, Nic helped facilitate the transformation of fragmented siloed teams into lean cross functional delivery teams. As well as the Business Energy Comparison launch team that he was part of, he also lead teams delivering comparison solutions for Consumer Energy, Car Insurance, Broadband and Mobile.
In 2012, he set up the Lean Software Factory, a software agency that has delivered solutions to price comparison businesses including Bionic (UK’s leading business comparison service) and Decision Technologies.
Alongside Jason, he established Factory3 in 2015.
